How To Play Guitar Electric

If i play electric guitar, does that mean i could play acoustic?

Im starting up electric guitar and was thinking if i know how to play electric would that mean i can automatically play acoustic guitar without any tuition.

yeah but i would start out with acoustic, because if you can play really good on that, most likely you can play electric better, but if you start electric, your fingers wont be as strong, because the strings are thinner and neck is thinner. but whatever you want.
